A page exists only if it has data behind it

There are 25 venue profiles and 15 area pages on this site, and that is all there are. We do not generate a page per permutation of city, category and adjective to catch long-tail searches. If we have nothing verified to say about something, there is no page for it.

Every fact carries a source and a date

Each profile lists the public sources it was built from — the venue's own site, published rate sheets, dated listings — and the date a human last checked them. The date is on the page, not in a database, so a stale profile is visibly stale. Pricing in particular moves; treat a figure older than a few months as a starting point for your own call.

A blank field means nobody checked, not zero

This is the part that matters most and it is where directories usually lie by omission. If we could not confirm something, the field is empty and says so. Right now that means 10 of 25 venues publish no rental figure, 12 have no verified answer on air conditioning, 14 none on ceremony shade, and 15 no published music curfew. We do not fill any of those with a plausible estimate, an average, or a dash that reads like a zero.

The same rule governs the deal-breaker shortlists: every filter matches on a verified yes. A venue missing from the air-conditioning list may well have air conditioning — it means we have not confirmed it. Absence is never presented as a negative finding.

Confidence is published, not hidden

Each profile carries a confidence rating. 2 of 25 are marked medium, which means the sources were thinner or partly indirect. Anything we could not resolve to at least medium confidence is held back and does not appear on the site at all, rather than appearing with a caveat nobody reads.

We publish no photography of real venues

Every cover on this site is drawn from the venue's own record — its area sets the colour, its style tags choose the symbol, its name sets the monogram. We hold no licence to any venue's photography, and a directory that decorates a profile with someone else's marketing shot is making a claim about a place it has never been. A drawn cover says we have not been there, and it cannot go out of date.

Nobody can pay to rank

Ordering on every list is by data — capacity, price band, or drive time. It is never by payment, and there is no paid tier on the site today. If that ever changes, paid placement will be labelled as paid on the card itself.

Tell us when we are wrong

We will be, somewhere. Every profile shows the sources it was built from, so an error is checkable rather than a matter of trust. Point at the fact and we will re-verify it and move the date.
